participation from winning teams of national business plan competitions
held in Hong Kong, India, Malaysia, Australia, Korea, Taiwan and China.
Inspired by the success
of Start-up@Singapore competition for the last two years, the National
University of Singapore - Centre for Entrepreneurship and NUS
Business School Alumni (NUSBSA), in partnership with the Economic
Development Board (EDB) of Singapore and TIF Ventures Pte Ltd (TIFV),
have come together to organize Start-up@Asia in Singapore.
The Start-up@Asia in
Singapore competition was held in conjunction with the TechVenture Asia
2001: a Technology Investment Forum where participants will have
opportunities to network and mingle with top business talents and
investment professionals from the leading private equity and venture
capital firms worldwide. This was a synergistic coupling of the two
events epitomizing innovative ideas getting funded.
