FriarTuck has formed an iLIUP partnership with IBM for mutual benefits
(Singapore) 15 April, 2003- An initial
discussion with IBM led to an assessment of possible synergies between IBM and
FriarTuck. FriarTuck can complement IBM's solutions and services in
niches where advanced scheduling technology is needed. At the same time,
FriarTuck can make use of IBM's extensive networks for publicity and
marketing purposes. Healthcare (nurse
rostering) and education (course timetabling) were identified as
possible target markets for joint efforts.
FriarTuck has eventually
formed an iLIUP
partnership with IBM. FriarTuck
is currently updating its marketing material and software to approach
healthcare customers in nurse rostering jointly with IBM.
