Visual
artist Kelly Reedy's passion for art history and
culture has taken her around the world.
Upon moving to Singapore in 1997, a long- standing interest in Byzantine and medieval
icons fused with a high regard for Asian folk
art. Her recent work has been influenced by "paper used as prayer" in India, China and Japan, and by the rich textile arts of South East Asia. Her paintings, collages and prints display an original integration of both Eastern and Western iconographic traditions.
She has exhibited internationally in Paris, Chicago and Berlin, as well as in Singapore where she currently lives and works.
