come explore the techniques of combining relief printing with chine collé (collage). Design your own linocut and collage your favorite papers onto your print all in one go! Endless combinations are possible!

| Storytelling through Pictures, the Art of Indian Narrative Scrolls |
a lecture for the Friends of the Museums
India has a long and rich history of storytelling. Different regions have special cast communities of artists and storytellers who paint narrative scrolls to use as visual props when going from village to village reciting and singing their tales. Come learn how this art form has transformed itself in order to survive in the age of TV and film!

| Painting a Story | Learn about the art of Indian narrative scroll painting and use traditional techniques to make a scroll like they still do in West Bengal today!
