Saturday, Jan. 19th: "Line and Tone" Learn how to make charcoal drawings of the things around you like Vincent Van Gogh.

Saturday, Jan. 26th: "A Special Chinese New Year Project! Lanterns for Luck" Draw with your scissors and make your own paper cuts and Chinese lantern to bring happiness into your home in the year of the Rat!

Saturday, Feb. 16th: "Crazy Contours/ People in Places" Use fiber-tipped pens and watercolors to create detailed line drawings of "people in places" like the Mithila artists of India .

Saturday, Feb. 23rd: "SurREAL" Use acrylics and mixed media collage techniques to create a surrealistic painting with the help of René Magritte! (canvas charged separately)

Saturday, Mar. 1st: "Landscapes en Plein Air" Come paint outside in Kelly's garden just like the French Impressionists did! (canvas charged separately)

"Let's Go to Nalanda"

Saturday, Mar. 8th, 2:00pm - 5:00pm: Join Kelly for a magical trip to the famous Buddhist University of Nalanda in India without leaving the ACM! You will become a pilgrim and visit two special exhibitions, "On the Nalanda Trail: Buddhism in India, China, and Southeast Asia" and "Many Traditions One Strand - Textiles of the ASEAN Countries". Afterwards, Kelly will teach you simple printmaking techniques like mono and relief printing in a hands-on workshop, helping you to capture in print how you looked and what special objects you saw or brought home!
