role-based software components, which are built on top of functionality-based
modules like scheduling, tracking and labor forecasting. The core
layer represents software platforms that provide the technological infrastructure
to the functionality-based modules.
The optimization platform—powered by the award-winning
solver engine FTSolverTM—lies
at the heart of the OWM suite. The integration platform provides the interfaces
required for communication with other IT systems. The Business Intelligence
Platform provides business intelligence for forecasting, evaluation and
reporting, and the Multi Channel Platform equips the system components
with the ability to communicate with the relevant employees using a range
of communication media, including email, SMS, and web.
