FriarTuck's Implementation Services help companies fully integrate FriarTuck
products into their diverse and complex environments. The Implementation Service's Engagement
Manager works closely with your team to oversee critical project management tasks and customer
relations essential for successful implementation. Our implementation methodology provides
us with a framework to map the task and dependencies, create a timeline, and manage the milestone
components of your project plans. The following methodology ensures timely implementation
and success in delivering product functionality.
Need Analysis - Involves close interactions with the management, planners
and IT staff at the organization to understand the scheduling and optimization requirements.
The analysis of the user requirements will be translated into a detailed Need Analysis
document. Participation from all users is absolutely essential to capture complete requirements
early in the engagement and fundamental to success of the deployment. These requirements
may lead to some business process change that is reviewed in subsequent rounds to best
fit the organization’s needs.
Integration Analysis – OWM retrieve/submit data from/to existing
IT systems to facilitate planning, forecasting and scheduling, activity and performance
management. For successful integration, close interactions will be carried out with the
IT personnel to understand and analyze the workflow and integration requirements; this
will be converted into a detailed Integration Analysis document.
Optimization Consultation – Implementation of proven best practices
for workforce optimization and capital deployment help the organization realize increased
value. The consulting professionals deliver insight and value through extensive industry
and technical knowledge developed over 10 years and client engagements. The consultants
help the organization define the value of workforce optimization in their business, enhance
their current workforce optimization initiatives, and offer insight into questions on solution
usage and business best practices. The Need Analysis and Integration Analysis document
will be fine-tuned based on the consultation carried out in this phase. The final documents
serve as the blueprint for all technical, configuration/customization, and training that
follow the design/consulting phase of the implementation process. User Acceptance is sought
prior to proceeding to the next phase of customization, configuration and integration.
Customization, Configuration and Integration – OWM is designed
to help organization grow and manage its business. OWM will be customized and configured
to meet the exact needs of the organization based on the Need Analysis document. The customization
effort spreads across the UI configuration, problem modeling and solver tweaking. Integration
of the software with the ERP, CRM, Email Management, and other systems will be performed
in this phase. This implementation process maximizes the benefits realized by matching
organization’s business needs to specific utilization of OWM system.
Installation and On-site Testing – In this phase, the system is
installed at the department’s premises. Availability of the hardware and software
with sufficient capacity is essential for successful deployment. Testing is carried out
on the ground prior to going live.
Training and Handholding Support – Training and handholding forms
the most crucial link in the ultimate success of the deployment and is fundamental to user’s
acceptance as well as full exploitation of the power of OWM scheduling & optimization
tool. While training shall be scheduled in batches, handholding support shall be provided
for users to successfully transfer to a hassle free, automated and optimized scheduling
solution.
Post-Implementation Support – After the implementation, FriarTuck
will continue to offer support for 30 days facilitating users to adapt to the system in
a phased manner and be able to speedily generate significantly superior schedules. Fine
tuning, load balancing, integration issues, and similar requirements to stabilize the deployments
in use are covered during this period. This covers minor customization changes, bug fixes,
maintenance and related product issues. Subsequently, the AMC comes in to effect. |
